Casella Wines
Casella Family Brands is a familyowned
wine company based in Australia.
Its most well-known brandname
is Yellow Tail. Filippo and Maria
Casella immigrated to Australia in
1957. They bought land and established
a vineyard at Yenda in the Riverina
region of New South Wales in 1965,
followed by their own winery in 1969.
Their son, John Casella, took over the
business in 1994. Yellow Tail was introduced
in 2001 and now sells over 12.5
formerly the wine division of international
brewing company Foster's

Treasury Wine owns around 45 wine
labels, including Australia's Penfolds,
Wolf Blass and Lindemann's, and US
labels such as Beringer and Sterling. It

Accolade Wines is an international
wine business with headquarters in
South Australia and corporate offices
in Melbourne. It has been owned by
The Carlylr Group, an American private
equity company, since 2018. Accolade
Wines traces its beginning to
Thomas Hardy and Sons, a company
founded in 1853 which grew to become
Australia's largest winemaker. Accolade,
which predominantly uses the
Hardy's label, is one of the worlds largest
winemakers, has more than 1700
employees around the world, with operations
in North America, the United
Kingdom, Ireland, mainland Europe,
South Africa, Australia, New Zealand,
and Asia. 1
