A new chapter
and homecoming
That's how I would describe the challenge "new editor for Brewing and Beverage Industry
International" from my point of view.
For many years I was able to apply my education, knowledge and experience on projects
and tasks around the globe. Now as Christoph Seifried's successor it is time for a new chapter
at Sachon publishing house. At the same time, however, it is also a kind of homecoming
to my native Bavaria for me, that I can now combine with the journalistic writing I was
tought at university in Vancouver, Canada so many years ago.
“To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong.”
-Joseph Chilton Pearce, American author
Thus I follow this motto in tackling the challenge ahead and look forward to delivering
many captivating reports.
This issue presents itself as a colorful Easter bouquet with topics that take us to stops not
to be missed along Route 66, past wineries down under, to the twin cities, where the 2022
edition of the Craft Brewers Conference (see pages 12 to 14) will be hosted and more.
Maybe the upcoming CBC gives the chance to meet for a beer and
a chat with my colleague Eva Maria Kahle, who will represent
Sachon Publishing House this year.
Just like Joe Pearce wrote, lose your fear and approach Eva, she
would love to tell you more about us over a glass of beer!
Cheers!
Peter Neuner
